Monika Brooks is a dedicated community member and advocate, committed to promoting literacy, racial diversity, and autism awareness in the Bay Area through active community engagement. As the founder of the Mocha Autism Network, she tirelessly works to raise awareness of autism within Communities of Color, striving for equity and inclusivity. She harnesses the power of new media platforms to amplify her advocacy efforts, serving as a producer, radio personality, moderator, and subject matter expert on Diversity, Equity, and the vital role of Black women in activism.
Monika's impact extends to her role as the Autism Awareness Coordinator for the Pacific Region within Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Monika earned her Bachelor's Degree in Black Studies from San Francisco State University's College of Ethnic Studies, further enriching her understanding of the intersectionality of race, culture, and community activism.
